Point Alarm System
The point alarm is an electronic monitoring system designed to trigger a visual and audible alarm when a pre-set capacity level of oil is reached within the treatment chamber. It acts as a safeguard against spills and eliminates the need for manual inspection.
Coalescing Filter for Removing Small Diameter Oil Globules (>20 µm)
Coalescing elements cause fine free oil droplets to agglomerate into larger droplets, thus enhancing gravity separation. The addition of a coalescer within the separator can allow for a reduction in the required sizing of the separator.
Suction Pipe for Indoor Installations
A suction pipe is used for remote tank cleanout. Internal piping allows the system to be maintained if a servicing vehicle logistically cannot access the top of the tank. This piping can also then be plumbed to an exterior wall allowing for a pumping truck to attach to the port instead of opening the frame and cover for traditional servicing.
Internal Oil Reservoir
An adjustable oil draw-off pipe transfers oil to an internal oil reservoir. The internal reservoir replaces the need to have both a separator and an external waste oil holding tank for a waste oil recovery system. The oil draw-off is set by the operator such that no water is taken off and only a minimum quantity of oil is resident in the separator at any time. This reduces servicing frequency, provides a safeguard against excess oil build-up in the separator and allows oil removal without interrupting the operation of the separator.
Some oil recycling companies offer credit to the owner for the removal of oil from the oil reservoir.
Oil Draw-Off Pipe for External Oil Reservoir (Supplied by other vendors)
An adjustable oil draw-off pipe is used to decant oil from the separator to an external oil reservoir to reduce the servicing frequency of the separator, provide a safeguard against excess oil build-up in the separator and allow oil removal without interrupting the operation of the separator.
Double Wall
Proceptor separators can be supplied with a secondary wall made from durable fiberglass for added protection against leaks.
Level Monitoring System for Double Wall
The system uses an ultrasonic level sensor installed in the interstitial space between the tank walls at a pre-set level for cleanout. Once the sensor comes into contact with liquid, it sends a signal to an externally mounted relay controller and alarm box, which notifies personnel that there is fluid in the interstitial space.
Remote Shut-off Valve System
Proceptor oil separators may be equipped with an electronic shut-off valve. A valve chamber upstream of the separator is the recommended configuration. The alarm is configured to automatically trigger the shut-off valve when the oil reaches a pre-set level within the separator.
