The point alarm is an electronic monitoring system designed to trigger a visual and audible alarm when a pre-set level of grease is reached within the treatment chamber. It acts as a safeguard against spills caused by exceeding the grease storage capacity and eliminates the need for manual inspection.
Remote Shutoff Valve System
Using both the remote shut-off valve and the point level alarm provides optimal protection against spills. These options ensure that grease is not discharged to the sewers. An alarm automatically triggers the shut-off valve when the grease reaches a pre-set level within the separator.
Suction Pipe for Indoor Installations
A suction pipe is used for remote tank cleanout. Internal piping allows the system to be maintained if a servicing vehicle logistically cannot access the top of the tank. The schedule pipe extends to the bottom of the separator to allow for all liquid and solid waste to be suctioned out. The piping can then be plumbed to an exterior wall to allow a pumping truck to attach the port instead of opening the frame and cover for traditional servicing.
